We believe that worship is enhanced by the giggles and laughter of children even if we don’t understand all of the words they say! We regularly integrate children into many aspects of our service so they can do their part in glorifying our God. It is our responsibility to assist children in their faith journey as they continue to be the light in our world and spread God’s love.

Sunday Mornings

Birth to PreSchool – We love hearing children during worship; they are making a joyful noise to the Lord! However, for those parents that feel more comfortable sitting in a noise- controlled setting with their young children, we have a room available off the office to watch and listen to the service.

Preschool through Middle School – Children join the congregation in the first part of the service; after the Children’s Sermon they head downstairs with the Sunday School teacher to learn more about our God, his redeeming love and the gift of the Holy Spirit through lessons, crafts, activities and games.

Sunday School Teachers – Our Children’s Ministry wouldn’t be possible without the time and talents of our volunteer team!  If you are interested in being a Sunday School teacher, please contact the church office office@churchinthehills.org
