In addition to Adult Education opportunities, Church in the Hills has small groups that focus on friendship as well as mission. New small groups are encouraged to form at any time based on the changing passions of the congregation (golf, reading, etc.). This group meets monthly on the 2nd Monday of the month in the Undercroft from 10-11:30. The church has been blessed with donations to furnish the yarn to make the prayer shawls, you just bring the knitting tools. You do not need to be physically present to be part of the ministry – you can knit or crochet anywhere! Shawls are not only given to church members, but also friends, family, members of the community or co-workers that need comfort and prayers. The shawls are prayerfully crafted and blessed by Pastor David during Sunday Services. Knitters and crocheters across all skill levels are welcome!
Soul Sisters provides women with opportunities to lift one another up, pray together, and grow in Christ. Our sisters meet once a month to enjoy a wonderful lunch and fellowship with each other. Sisters supporting Sisters!
