Ways to Give

Giving is an essential part of Christian worship and living. It is only through the gifts of the congregation that the church is able to continue its program of worship, study and service.

As the apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8:

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Giving options include:

General Fund: Unrestricted gifts used for the normal budgeted operations of the church, including worship, facilities, Deacons, Christian education, building and grounds, and mission.

Mission Fund: A designated account for mission projects outside the normal budget, including special denominational offerings, food pantry, backpack ministry, Christmas families, disaster relief, etc.

Community Relief Fund: A special fund to assist community members in emergency circumstances.

Endowment Fund: Donations are permanently invested for the benefit of the church and its mission. The income can be used to fund various non-budgeted projects. The endowment fund is particularly suited for legacy or memorial gifts. (Donations of securities are welcome by arrangement with the Finance Committee).
